About the project
According to the European Parliament, the multifunctional role of women is essential to safeguarding Europe’s rural areas, whose population is expected to decrease by almost 8 million inhabitants by 2050, while the urban population will rapidly grow, reaching 24 million by the same year. Rural women continue to face significant disadvantages, compared not only with rural men but also with women living in urban areas. The MORE project aims to improve access to and the quality of training opportunities and qualifications for rural women across the EU.
